Leavers’ destinations
We are extremely lucky to have so many excellent senior schools in the Reading area to which our children can choose to go after St Edward’s Prep.
A significant benefit of attending an entirely independent prep school is that it helps parents keep an open mind about their senior school options, and ensures that, when the time comes, they select a school that really suits their child. For example, we have pupils who have been offered highly-sought after grammar school places but who, on reflection, have opted for an independent school instead.
Ultimately, our aim is to give them that choice, and, with a broad and engaging education from the very youngest, we ensure they have the tools they need for whatever step they take next. When the time comes to start thinking about where your child may go, we are very happy to discuss the options with you and help you choose the school in which your son or daughter will thrive.
