With five matches played last week, we have plenty to tell you about.Colts A lost a close game with Daneshill who scored 67 runs, but in reply we only manged to reach 37. Top scorer (17) William Slade was named Man of the Match.
Colts B lost by one run from the last ball of the game. St Edwards managed to get 111 runs but Daneshill reached the target set with one ball remaining. Man of the Match went to Branson Rizzo for his 26 runs and excellent bowling.
Colts C again lost in a very close game. Man of the Match went to Samuel Redman who fielded very well.
Friday’s games were a lot better results for us winning both games. U9A won a very close game scoring 67 and St Andrew’s only managing 61 in the reply. Man of the Match went jointly to a very impressive Joseph Swift and match winner Yadveer Gill. The team performed very well and are showing signs of becoming an excellent squad of players.
U9B also won a tight game scoring 86 runs and St Andrew’s only managing 71. This team again are showing impressive improvement over the course of the cricket term.
