St Patrick’s house pupils claimed bragging rights at this year’s inter-house cross-country event. Young runners took to the muddy course at Prospect Park on Wednesday 19th October looking to claim a victory for their respective houses, and there were a number of standout performances throughout the afternoon.
On Friday 30th September, six Year 4 boys had the privilege to take part in a local Maths Challenge organised by Douglas Buchanan at Crosfields School. In total 47 teams took part in an afternoon of Maths challenges, puzzles, investigations, tangrams and dominoes.
Much to the disgust of the rest of the school it included a starter of pickled ducks feet mixed with pineapple, a main course of cornflakes and fried jellyfish and a pudding of squashed bats with chocolate cake!
