Year 1 boys are busy deciding where they might live in the future. They are comparing and contrasting different types of homes, labelling the parts and looking at the materials used for the buildings, windows and doors. The lesson is carefully set up with three levels of challenge, to extend the most able and give extra support to those who need it.
Thursday 9th February saw Reading Central pool host the annual St Edward’s Prep inter house swimming gala. Fifty races were scheduled for the afternoon finishing with the highly entertaining relays.
Year 2 form teacher Rosemary Daley-Franks cannot hide her huge personality; her classroom is full of creativity and the lively displays that evidence the interesting and exciting work going on.
Reiss-Alexander is a member of the Chelsea FC Academy. Now in Year 6, he has been at St Edward’s since he started in Reception at the age of four. Like most boys his age he is passionate about football, however for Reiss-Alexander his passion could one day make him a household name.
