21st Century Science -the tiniest particles to the vastness of space.
How rainbows are formed, how things grow, how electricity flows around a circuit and why things fall downwards. The aim of teaching Science at St Edward’s Prep School is to encourage our pupils to appreciate and seek a greater understanding of the amazing universe we live in: from the tiniest particles to the vastness of space.
Spring Nursery Extravaganza
Boys and girls from local nurseries Western Elms, Pine Rivers and Little Tots brought the sunshine with them as they joined Little Griffins today for our Spring Term Nursery Extravaganza.
Year 1 Assembly
The focus of their learning has been ‘On The Move’, a concept which has seen the children explore their own family histories as well as examine current migration trends around the world.
Sports Report
Despite the weather conditions and the slippery playing surface, the boys played some excellent rugby and put in an outstanding performance to record an emphatic win against a talented opposition.
STEAM WEEK – Peace & Justice
St Edward's students have enjoyed a marvelous week launching our STEAM topics of Peace and Justice. We have had visitors from various fields coming to talk and inspire lots of minds. From all different angles our visitors explored Peace and Justice to get our students communicating, thinking critically, being creative and working together collaboratively.
