Sports Coach

Hours: 22 hours per week, Mon-Fri from 1pm

We are offering a dynamic opportunity for a Sports Coach, an integral part of our sports team dedicated to delivering high-quality sports education and activities. Our sports programmes, conducted both on-site at St Edward’s and offsite at our picturesque Sulhamsted facilities, are a cornerstone of our school’s ethos, emphasising the value and importance of physical education.

This part-time position, requiring 22 hours a week from 1pm Monday to Friday, is open to coaches who are passionate about nurturing talent at all levels. At St Edward’s, we cater to a wide range of abilities; from students competing at high levels in sports like Football, Rugby and Cricket, to beginners experiencing these sports for the first time. We believe in the significance of inclusive coaching that appreciates and nurtures learners of all skill levels.

Minibus Drivers

Start date: As soon as possible

We are looking for minibus drivers for morning and afternoon school runs, sports fixtures and school trips, with optional extra work opportunities available as a member of the Operations Team.

Teaching Assistant

Hours: Part-time – 8.30-1.30, Monday to Friday during term time
Salary: £11,000-13,500 depending on experience
Start date: As soon as possible
Deadline: 4 February 2024

We are looking for a TA who is passionate about working with children to work with an individual pupil with SEND needs. They need to be able to work on their own initiative and follow instruction and will support with classroom activities under the guidance of the teacher responsible.

Previous experience of a similar TA role in a similar setting is desirable, as is an existing knowledge of Autism and other SEND needs.
