Fees are payable in advance by bank transfer and must be paid on or before the first day of each term. Interest and charges will be applied to overdue balances. A full term’s notice or payment of a term’s fees in lieu is required before the removal of a child.
Club fees, trips and other charges are invoiced in arrears at the end of each term.
Childcare vouchers and Tax-Free Childcare accounts may be used to pay for Nursery fees and Reception fees for any term before a child reaches statutory school age. They can also be used to pay for After-School Care and Holiday Club.
Bursaries may be available to those requiring financial assistance. All bursary applications are means tested and must include a full statement of the parents’ financial status. Each will be considered in complete confidence and solely on its merits: it is not influenced by the candidate’s abilities. Bursary application forms are available on request from the Registrar (registrar@stedwardsprep.com).
From 1 January 2025, independent school fees from Reception upwards will be subject to VAT. The fees stated above are inclusive of VAT although we have not passed on the full cost of this tax to parents. We continue to work hard to further mitigate the impact.
