Well done Dillon Bromfield on winning the Off-by-Heart poetry competition. Your poem ‘Not Exactly A Love Letter’ by AF Harrold was thoroughly enjoyed by not only Matt Whitelock, our judge, but your friends and teachers, too. Also, how great it is that AF Harrold is a real, live poet living in Reading! Your facial expressions, when telling the poem and the rhythm you achieved along with the colouring of your words made for a delightful performance. There were many highlights of the morning: the courage and bravery of the Pre-Prep boys, Atharva, Archie, Felix, Om, Joseph and Max. Homework will forever be stinky! Zachary, Yadveer and Aedan’s poems kept us entertained along with the rest of the Year 3s who kicked off the whole show with a delightful choral verse.
