The cricket season is in full swing!

Cricket has been our main focus in the first few weeks of term with many boys practicing their bowling at break time and lunch time, as well as getting to grips with the bat during PE lessons. The boys are all very keen to improve and are showing some great potential for the future.

We had five cricket fixtures this past week, winning two and narrowly losing three. The U8A team won their game convincingly with Man of the Match, Joseph Swift, showing his talents throughout the game. The other victory came in the Colts A game on Wednesday 3rd May vs a strong LVS team. Thomas Hewitt took 4 wickets from 3 overs to wrap up the game, after Oliver Ireland scored a brilliant 48 from 23 balls.

Well done to all the boys. Whether they won or lost, they are all improving!
