While the curriculum is carefully planned to enable each child to reach their full potential the staff in Pre-Prep also strive to ensure that children develop a lifelong love of learning.

Year 3 has been transported back to Ancient Egypt this term. They have been learning about the history of the Ancient Egyptians, mummification, pharaohs, hieroglyphs, Ancient Egyptian gods & more.

Classes celebrated the festival by smearing each other with paint, and throwing coloured powder and dye around in an atmosphere of great good humour.

St Edward's closed out a close game against Henley rivals at an overcast Sulhamstead last week.

In tough and windy conditions at Sulhamstead the U9s toiled away but were beaten by a strong Daneshill set up.

In total 42 teams took part in an afternoon of Maths challenges, puzzles, investigations, tangrams and dominoes.

The effort was typified by the never say die attitude of the team who supported each other throughout.
