Luckley House Maths Challenge
Four of our Year 5 boys, Avi, Manaswith, Yuyao and Abeer, took part in the Luckley House Maths Challenge on Tuesday afternoon. It was a challenging afternoon competing against over 30 different school from across the region. There were 6 different problem solving tasks to tackle, from pentominoes , dice problems to puzzles involving playing cards. The afternoon culminated in a multiple-choice mathematical problem to solve in pairs. Our first team (Avi and Abeer) came 19th and our second team (Yuyao and Manaswith) came 11th.
