Spring Nursery Extravaganza

Nursery Extravaganza!

Boys and girls from local nurseries Western Elms, Pine Rivers and Little Tots brought the sunshine with them as they joined Little Griffins today for our Spring Term Nursery Extravaganza.

Year 6 had prepared the hall with a range of wonderful activities to engage and excite the children. They honed their fine motor skills by cutting around geometric shapes, threading straws and sticking brightly coloured paper carefully along wiggly lines. Children got messy exploring slimy, sensory noodles and creative making cardboard roll faces. Numicon and floor tiles enabled them to create patterns and show off counting skills.

A comfy book area was enticing to all at the end of a busy morning where the Year 6 boys enjoyed reading a quiet story to their guests.

Everyone left with bulging goodie bags and smiles on their faces. We look forward to inviting our nursery friends back to join the St Edward’s family again in the summer.
