Young Mathematicians’ Award

Selected Year 6 boys had the opportunity to take part in a brand new maths challenge hosted by Explore Learning at Sainsburys Calcot and the University of Cambridge.
The boys spent 2 hours solving a “sticky dice” problem in which half the points were awarded for strategic problem solving and the other half for evidence of teamwork and collaboration. We eagerly await the results to see if we have made it to round 2.
Well done boys! The grand final will be held at the University of Cambridge in January so keep your fingers crossed!
