A magic medicine it shall be!

Year 3 have been studying George’s Marvellous Medicine, by Roald Dahl.

They have been fascinated by the idea of making a marvellous medicine, so thought hard about what ingredients to use and what verbs to use to describe adding the ingredient to the mix, practising their very, very neatest handwriting to write the method in their books.

They had a lot of fun pouring, squirting, squeezing and more, but unfortunately couldn’t find anyone to be ‘Grandma’ and try out their medicine.

Ahhh well, they will need to use their imagination next lesson to describe what would have happened if someone had been brave enough to try…
