Colts A vs Reddam House

The Colts A put on their best performance of the season with some excellent football on display. The boys are really starting to click and showed what they are capable of.
Jo was class in goal all afternoon and was supported by Max and Nathan in defence. Nathan scored his first goal of the season. Louis had his best game on the wing with two assists. Alex got himself two assists too and Dimeji got himself a hat trick. Overall a top team performance and impossible to single one boy out for Man of The Match.

U11B vs Reddam House

The B team were really up for the match against Reddam and keen to make it 3 wins in a row. The boys made the perfect start by scoring a quick goal and then dominated the first half with some excellent passing ending 6-0 up by half time. In the second half we swapped around positions and tried to get used playing a different role, this made it a closer game. The game ended 6-0 to St Edward’s who showed great sportsmanship towards their host.

U11C vs Reddam House

The under 11C were keen for a win after drawing with Reddam at the Papplewick tournament. They fought incredibly hard with great performances from Vashist and Rujul who stepped up from the Ds. Oliver was happy to keep his first clean sheet of the season at the same time as leading the team as captain. The game finished 1-0 to St Edward’s. Well done boys. Men of The Match were Rujul and Aniket.
Mr Jones.

U9A vs Daneshill U9B vs Daneshill

The trip to Daneshill is always a pleasure. Their teams play well and are always well mannered. Today we tried hard but they got the better of us. We go into house football with a couple of losses but still working hard in training. There were some outstanding performances from the boys. Dylan was fantastic for the A team. A class above most of the pitch and Luca had a good game in goal taking in the second half. For the B team Baichen played exceptionally well from beginning to end.

U8A vs Daneshill

On Friday the U8A team had a very competitive fixture vs Daneshill drawing 1-1. The boys played some very good football at times and are showing very good levels of improvement every afternoon. Taig got the goal this week but Thomas was clearly the best player on the pitch and won Man of The Match.
Mr Bovingdon.

U8B vs Daneshill

Unfortunately, the boys lost 2-0 in a very close game in which they conceded two soft goals. Man of The Match goes to Moussa.

IAPS U11 Rugby

On Saturday the U11A team consisting of:

Max, Jacob, Louis, Oliver C, Haider, Dimeji, Alex, Yadveer, Jacob, Jashan and Zach all travelled over to Gayhurst Prep for this year’s IAPS U11 Rugby Tournament.
We all knew that it was going to be a very competitive morning of rugby and the boys certainly did not let us down. From the time we got there to the time we left, the boys were first class. With all the schools attending being a lot bigger schools then us, we knew we had to be at our best. The boys showed some excellent rugby all morning and matched all the teams they played.
I am very proud of the Year 6 boys and they can be very proud of themselves.
Thank you all for being on time and for all the support from the parents.
