Why Inquiry-Based Learning?
Last term our Headteacher, Jonathan Parsons, held a discussion with pupils from Years 1 to 6 about the different ways they had approached the Spring term's curriculum theme, Systems and Structures. Our world record attempt sent a big message!
Pupils of St Edward’s Prep made a World Record attempt for the Largest Plastic Bottle Sentence. The previous record, held in a shopping mall in Dubai in August 2020, was 2650 bottles. St Edward's Prep's sentence was written with 3325 bottles!
Our Record Breaking Attempt
As this Thursday draws closer there is a feeling of growing excitement and anticipation amongst the children, staff, parent association and our community that we will be able to become the Guinness World Record holders for the longest sentence made out of plastic bottles. We hope to beat the current record of a sentence containing 2560 bottles held in a shopping centre in Dubai.
