Well done to the Colts A who qualified for the next round of the county cup with a very 12-0 win over Lambourn Primary.
Blue-Green Cities
Hannah began by eliciting what the children knew about rivers in our local area and was impressed when they promptly named the Thames and Kennet.
Young Mathematicians’ Award
The boys spent 2 hours solving a “sticky dice” problem in which half the points were awarded for strategic problem solving and the other half for evidence of teamwork and collaboration.
Cities of the Future
Pupils were inspired by the concept and enjoyed the trips to the Model Village, The Blade and The Crystal in London.
Watch out, there is a dinosaur on the loose!
They excitedly explored where they thought they had come from and which part of the dinosaur they were from.

The Year 1 boys were very fortunate that a group of Year 1 mums gave up their morning to create a colourful, beautiful Diwali celebration in class.
Maths outside, phonics inside!
Later in the day, they put their phonics skills to practice and came across a basket of dinosaur bones!
